Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your iPhone, inside the app's sandbox. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly share it via the iOS share sheet. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
How do I back up my promises?
Go to Profile → Data & privacy → Export my data. That generates a JSON snapshot of every promise, check-in, reflection, and rendered video record, and opens the iOS share sheet so you can save it to Files / iCloud Drive / email it to yourself.
Why no streaks?
Streaks are great motivators until they aren't — one missed day shouldn't wipe weeks of effort. Promise Yourself emphasizes the forgiving completion percentage (kept days over scheduled days minus rest days) instead, so a single bad day doesn't define your relationship with a promise.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. iOS removes the app's sandbox along with it. There is nothing for us to delete on our side — we don't have your data.
